Tune in to Classical KDFC for “The Opera Hour” on the first Sunday of every month at 8pm PDT/PST on 90.3, 104.9, 89.9, 103.9 FM and streaming online at "The Opera Hour" is hosted by KDFC’s President Bill Lueth and SF Opera’s General Director Matthew Shilvock. This monthly one-hour program welcomes long-time opera fans and the opera curious who want to discover the magic of this music by highlighting upcoming opera performances and gems from the SF Opera archives.

Tune in to the WFMT Radio Network on Saturday mornings at 10am PST to hear operatic favorites, recorded live and broadcast nationally and internationally across the network. San Francisco Opera performances are broadcast in the fall.

The hosts will highlight opportunities to hear great singing around the Bay Area and dig into the treasure trove of archival San Francisco Opera broadcasts. Additionally, Shilvock will take listeners backstage at the War Memorial Opera House and, with the help of special guests, share insights about this spectacular artform.
