Welcoming You Back, Safely

The health and safety of our patrons, employees, and artists area our number one priority. Here are some of the ways we’re keeping everyone safe.

MASKS

All patrons are required to wear a mask. Masks with valves, gaiters, scarves, etc. are not permitted. Audience members who fail to follow the front of house safety protocols will be promptly removed from the performance venue. 

WORRY-FREE REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

If, for any reason, you have to miss a performance due to COVID, we will work with you to exchange your tickets for those of another performance or arrange for a refund. We are also eliminating all exchange fees for this season. Exchanges can be made up to two hours before the performance.

UCSF DOCTOR PARTNERSHIP

All of San Francisco Opera’s health and safety protocols have been developed with a group of University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) doctors, led by epidemiologist Dr. George Rutherford.
